Taylor is joining Scout upon completion of her MBA from the McCombs School of Business where she is concentrating in Finance. Throughout her MBA, Taylor worked as an Investment Analyst and Lodge Innovation Scholar at the Texas Innovation Center where she provided go-to-market strategy, financial analysis, and marketing development for 30+ startup companies founded by UT faculty and graduate students. She was also the Associate for The Fund Austin, a local venture firm that focuses on forming a community of founders and operators who care deeply about the next generation of local entrepreneurs. Lastly, she was a board observer for the Seedling Foundation, an Austin non-profit organization focused on providing mentorship to children of incarcerated parents. She spent her MBA summer at Microsoft working in Corporate FP&A supporting their Technical Finance team. At Microsoft, she partnered with corporate strategy, business planning, executive compensation, and senior leadership to analyze the leading indicators and accountability metrics Microsoft uses to define success in their upcoming fiscal year. Prior to graduate school, Taylor spent six years at Dell Technologies on their Corporate Treasury team where she worked in both operations and risk management. She is also a graduate of Dell’s Finance Development Program. Taylor holds a BA in Mathematics from The University of Texas at Austin.
